Rule 3
Convocation and termination

(1) The general secretary or in his absence the secretary shall give the information to the members that the president has called the session in accordance with the clause (1) of Article 93 of the Constitution.
(2) If the President terminates the session called in accordance with sub-rule (1) in accordance with sub-section (2) of Article 93 of the Constitution, the speaker shall read out the relevant information in the meeting. However, if the meeting of the House of Representatives is adjourned, if the session ends, the Secretary General or in his absence, the Secretary will give the information to the members through a notice.
(3) If one-fourth of the total number of members of the House of Representatives make a written request to the President that it is desirable to convene a session or a meeting when the session of the House of Representatives is not in session or adjourned, according to sub-section (3) of Article 93 of the Constitution, the date and time of holding such a session or meeting. will determine.
(4) The notification that the President has convened and closed the session of the House of Representatives in accordance with Article 93 of the Constitution shall be published by the Secretary General or in his absence by the Secretary through publication in the Nepal Gazette and through public media as required.
